Authors Smith and McCorkle read from their works while Nashville musicians Berg and Chapman perform accompanying songs.  The artists share stories about their friendship and about the creation of their musical Good Ol' Girls.

Good Ol' Girls (the musical)
    Created in 1998, the musical Good Ol' Girls debuted at the first North Carolina Literary Festival,
    continues to be staged by regional repertory companies and a production most recently appeared on UNC-TV.
